As of September 1, 2019, the ABNS assumed daily operational duties for the CAST. CAST, a subcommittee of the Society of Neurologist Surgeons (SNS). CAST (along with subcommittees NESAC and NCTAC) continue to make the decisions regarding new and continued program accreditation.
