Stereotactic & Functional

Accredited Stereotactic & Functional Fellowships and the Match

The American Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (ASSFN) is sponsoring a Match, and all CAST-accredited stereotactic/functional fellowships are required to participate.

The first Match day will be in June 2026 for fellowships starting on or around July 1, 2028. The Match will be processed through SF Match. More information may be found here and instructions for registering can be found here.

Minimum Case Requirements

Minimum case requirement were updated for all CAST accredited Stereotactic & Functional fellowships in 2023. These changes allowed programs to meet better requirements whether they have a DPB focused fellowship or an epilepsy focused fellowship.
